Jens Schönfeld joined the German Environment Agency in 2007 as a research associate, and now works in the IV2.2 Medicinal Products Department. His work focuses on assessing the environmental risks of human and veterinary medicinal products (biodegradation and bioaccumulation) and on the issue of resistance to antibiotics in the environment.
