Manfred Fischedick is Scientific Managing Director of the Wuppertal Institute and Professor at the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics at the University of Wuppertal. He consults the European Union, the German Federal Government and various German states as well as companies from different industries on energy and climate policy issues.
Manfred Fischedick is the author of numerous books and specialist articles and a member of many international committees (including lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change IPCC). Manfred Fischedick and the Wuppertal Institute pursue a transformative scientific approach and contribute with their research to the implementation of change processes.
